As part of ELD’s core pillar of convening, ELD advisory councils gather ELD-member leaders of color in Pueblo and Colorado Springs to network with nonprofit and business leaders from around Southern Colorado, and introduce ELD members to broad-based community involvement, civic engagement and leadership development training programs. During advisory council meetings, ELD members connect with others in their community and learn about community-led initiatives and El Pomar grant opportunities. Nonprofit and business executives looking to cultivate and recruit for board positions and volunteer opportunities within their organizations have the opportunity to meet this diverse talent pool of ELD members. Both Colorado Springs and Pueblo Advisory Council meeting schedules are below.Â
