Jackson Ferguson

Jackson Ferguson joined El Pomar Foundation as a member of the Fellowship Class of 2025. As a 1st Year Fellow, Jackson serves on the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL), the Forum for Civic Engagement, Regional Partnerships, and the Western Legislative Academy (WLA). He also supports the Pikes Peak and San Juan regional councils.

Jackson grew up between Colorado Springs and Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Economics and a minor in Political Science. While completing his degree, Jackson was a manager at the campus bowling alley and provided academic support in the physics department. Before joining the Fellowship, he was a legislative intern for Representative William Lindstedt in the Colorado General Assembly for the 75th legislative session. In 2020, Jackson planned and completed a scouting service project for “The Place” in Colorado Springs, earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

Jackson also worked as a camp counselor at Red Arrow Camp in northern Wisconsin, supporting boys’ outdoors development and coaching them to be the best versions of themselves. In his free time, Jackson enjoys exploring new music, traveling, playing tabletop games, and the outdoors.

Jackson’s programs include: American Council of Young Political Leaders, Forum for Civic Advancement, Regional Partnerships, Western Legislative Academy, Pikes Peak region, and San Juan region.
