Nancy Gedeon
Demographer, Colorado Department of Local Affairs
Nancy Gedeon is the estimates demographer at the Colorado State Demography Office which provides demographic and economic data for use by state agencies, local governments, the business community, and non-profit organizations throughout Colorado. Nancy produces the annual population estimates and gives presentations on state and local demographic trends. She has experience with local government and community development from her 14 years as a demographic analyst for Douglas County, Colorado, and is certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). She has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and a master’s degree in urban planning and development from Cleveland State University.

President & CEO, Boettcher Foundation
Katie Kramer has served as President and CEO of the Boettcher Foundation since 2017, bringing her career full circle as a former Boettcher Scholar and longtime Foundation leader. A recognized thought leader in leadership development, philanthropy, and nonprofit management, she is also a passionate advocate for rural Colorado and the leaders who strengthen communities across the state.
A fourth-generation Coloradan, Katie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and an Executive MBA from the University of Denver. She serves on several local and national boards, including the University of Colorado’s Center for Leadership, the Colorado Forum, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Denver Partnership. Her leadership and community impact have been recognized through numerous honors, including the Denver Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and the Del Hock Lifetime Achievement Award.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys exploring Colorado’s outdoors with her family. She is the proud mother of two boys and enjoys fishing and adventuring across the state with her husband, Joe.

Executive Director, Community Builders
Clark is the founder and Executive Director of Community Builders (CB), an organization dedicated to building livable communities in the American West. Through a unique partnership model, CB provides tailored support to help communities unlock solutions to local and regional challenges, while building the implementation and civic capacity for sustained progress and impact.
Blending a passion for the technical and policy side of building more livable communities, with a belief in the power of community-driven solutions, Clark has dedicated his career to bringing communities together to solve challenging community and economic development issues. A seasoned facilitator, Clark is adept at helping communities find common ground through informed dialogue and meaningful public engagement.
Clark is also a youth soccer coach and small-scale developer building “missing middle” housing in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where he lives with his wife, Kayce, and their children, Blu and Rayne.
