Lizzie Hille joined El Pomar Foundation as a member of the 2026 Fellowship class. As a 1st Year Fellow, Lizzie supports El Pomar’s Alumni Relations, Awards for Excellence program, Sally Beck Fund, and the North Regional Council.
Lizzie grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after moving from Valparaiso, Indiana, at a very young age. She  graduated from St. Olaf College in Minnesota with degrees in Political Science, French, and International Relations. During college, Lizzie served as a small group leader with St. Olaf InterVarsity where she grew in leadership and was driven by her love for community and relationship building. She also sang in Cantorei Choir, participating in the St. Olaf Christmas Festival on PBS all four years of college. Lizzie completed French department research during her senior year and studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, in January 2024.
In Summer 2025, Lizzie worked as the Community Engagement Intern at the Pikes Peak Community Foundation, where she further developed her passion for nonprofit work and relationship-driven community service. She is excited to be back in her home state and honored to participate in El Pomar’s mission of service to the people of Colorado.
Outside of work and school, Lizzie enjoys listening to podcasts, taking care of plants, traveling, and getting coffee with friends. She also cares deeply about wildlife and can often be found working with horses or visiting Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
