Charva Jamison joined El Pomar Foundation as a member of the 2026 Fellowship class. As a 1st Year Fellow, Charva supports El Pomar’s Alumni Relations and Regional Partnerships programs. She also supports the Foundation’s Metro and Southwest Regional Councils.
Charva was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO, and graduated from Colorado State University – Fort Collins (CSU) with a double degree in Dance and International Studies as well as a minor in French. During her time in undergraduate studies, Charva was president of the Dance Student Advisory Committee, Senator for the College of Liberal Arts in the Associated Students of CSU student government. Charva is also a proud Blake Leadership Scholar, which fostered an expanded focus on leadership skills, community outreach, and service for on-campus and off-campus communities.
As an advocate for the arts, Charva often traveled to regional and national dance intensives and festivals, such as the American Dance Festival and the American College Dance Association conference, which celebrate the beauty of the performing arts while instilling dancers with professional development and preparedness skills. Charva also enjoyed teaching dance to youth at local dance studios and participating in dance outreach projects in underserved communities through CSU Dance.
In her free time, Charva enjoys reading, playing piano, playing tennis with her sister, and traveling. She hopes to one day venture off on an international food tour.
