Emily Padgett joined El Pomar Foundation as a member of the 2017 Fellowship class. As a Fellow, Emily works on the communications team, Military Affairs, the Pikes Peak Heritage Series, New Fellow Orientation, ACYPL-Argentina, and video production in addition to working in the Metro region.
Emily was raised in Castle Pines, Colorado, and attended the University of Denver where she majored in international studies and Spanish, and minored in leadership studies. Outside of class, Emily spent her time working with Amigos de las Americas facilitating leadership training for high schoolers, and staffing summer programs in Panama. Prior to the Fellowship, Emily interned for Walking Tree Travel in Denver where she assisted the outreach and operations departments, and led educational programs in Costa Rica and Peru. Emily enjoys spending her time outside of the office in the mountains skiing, hiking and camping.
