Erin Kerr joined El Pomar Foundation as a member of the 2018 Fellowship class. As a Fellow, Erin works on American Council of Young Political Leaders, Military Affairs, Karl E. Eitel Fund, the communications team, and Pikes Peak Heritage Series. In addition, Erin supports the Central Peaks region.
Erin was born and raised in New England but now calls Colorado home. She attended the University of Vermont and holds her BA in geography and political science. After graduating in 2014, Erin worked for Wilderness Adventures leading outdoor trips for middle and high school students. After her time spent working outdoors, Erin moved to Washington, DC to pursue a very different opportunity - working for the U.S. Senate. For two years Erin worked on federal judicial nominations for the Senate Judiciary Committee. While in Washington, Erin also participated in American University Women & Politics Institute’s WeLead program; a bipartisan leadership training program designed to encourage women’s involvement in politics. Since moving to Colorado in 2017, Erin has worked at Ristorante Del Lago at The Broadmoor where she has greatly expanded upon her knowledge of Italian cuisine and Broadmoor history.
