Claire Girardeau joined El Pomar Foundation as a member of the 2019 Fellowship class. As a Fellow, Claire works on American Council of Young Political Leaders, Pikes Peak Heritage Series, Empty Stocking Fund, the Julie Penrose Award and Communications. In addition, Claire supports the Southwest and Central Peaks regions.
Claire was born and raised in Centennial Colorado. She graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish. While attending the University of Denver, Claire served as the Deputy Director for the Clinic for Writing and the Public Good and as an assistant for the university’s Office of International Education. She also spent summers interning with Wish of a Lifetime and Mujeres en Igualdad, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In both positions, Claire had the opportunity to connect with different communities and help share their stories with the world. In her free time, Claire enjoys running, watching movies and exploring the city with friends.
