Andrew Parker joined El Pomar Foundation as a member of the 2018 Fellowship Class. As a Fellow, Andrew works on Awards for Excellence, Fellowship Recruitment, the Internship, Western Legislative Academy, Wildland Fire Fund, and the Wellness Team. In addition, Andrew supports the Northeast region.
Andrew was born in Littleton, Colorado, and graduated from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry and biophysics. While at Amherst, he worked as an emergency medical technician for three years. In addition, he served on the Amherst College Emergency Medical Services Board of Directors for four years and spent two years overseeing the tour guide program. Prior to joining the Fellowship, Andrew worked as a summer intern at the Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Colorado-Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora.
