Vice President Peter Maiurro and fellows Libbey Davis and Jeff Hopfenbeck prepared and served food at the Manna Soup Kitchen in Durango on a recent trip to the Southwest Region. They joined forces with local volunteers and the mayor of Durango to put together a lunch for more than 100 people. The soup kitchen provides breakfast, lunch, and additional sack lunches prepped by an all-star chef, as well as shower, laundry, and medical services. The El Pomar staff members were excited to tour the two organic gardens, help out with the meal, and enjoy a taste of the strong Durango community fostered at the soup kitchen.
