Lt. General Michael Gould USAF (Ret.)
Lieutenant General Michael Gould, USAF (Ret.) will serve as the board’s Special Trustee, a position designed to advise the board on an area of interest to the Trustees while acting as a full voting member of the board. General Gould served as the Superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado from 2009 to July 2013. Prior to assuming the position of Superintendent, he was Director of Operations and Plans, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, III. His operational and staff assignments include Air Force aide to the President and senior military assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force. General Gould is a command pilot with more than 3,000 hours in a variety of aircraft. Gould and his wife, Paula, plan to retire in the Colorado Springs community.
