Mission: Support nonprofit organizations that serve the Pikes Peak Region, with a specific focus on organizations working in arts and humanities, education, health, human services, and civic and community initiatives.
The Anna Keesling Ackerman Fund of El Pomar Foundation seeks to continue the charitable intent of Mr. Jasper D. Ackerman who supported numerous charitable organizations and causes throughout the Pikes Peak Region. The Ackerman Fund has a separate proposal process and timeline from the El Pomar competitive grant process; grant applications are typically reviewed twice annually in the spring and fall.
Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) tax status that serve the Pikes Peak Region are eligible to apply for funding. Applications are accepted year-round, but are generally reviewed twice annually. For 2013, applications will be reviewed in May and September.
