The application deadline for the 2012 El Pomar Fellowship has passed
El Pomar's Fellowship program is built around the idea that outstanding organizations and communities don't just happen--they evolve when great potential meets great leadership. The focus of the Fellowship is on cultivating the next generation of leaders in the state of Colorado. The Fellowship is one more way that El Pomar can contribute to making Colorado an even better place to live. What's in it for the recent college graduates who devote two years to the program? A hands-on experience that combines on-the-job training with a solid background in leadership theory. Fellows learn everything from marketing and development to management and leadership--and they go on to become nonprofit CEOs, public officials, graduate students, and business executives. No matter their path, Fellows leave with a singular awareness that binds them together wherever they land. The El Pomar Fellowship produces leaders who take an active role in their communities, equipped with the tools to make a difference.
