On Thursday, 27 nonprofit organizations serving southwest Colorado were recognized and awarded grants during a presentation at the Durango Discovery Museum. Over $220,000 was distributed to organizations serving the five-county Southwest Region. All of the grants were recommended by local community members through El Pomar Foundation’s Southwest Regional Council.
