Trustees approve nearly $800K in grants at July meeting

COLORADO SPRINGS-- El Pomar trustees met on July 15 and approved 51 grants totaling $790,000 to nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Colorado. Recipient organizations are located in 21 different Colorado counties and include nonprofits located in eight of El Pomar's nine rural regions and the Front Range.

Grant highlights include:

Telluride Medical Center Foundation $25,000 San Juan Region
Women's Resource Center  $5,000 North Region
Town of Crestone $10,000 San Luis Valley Region
Pueblo School District 60  $20,000  Southeast Region
San Juan Basin Health Department $10,000  Southwest Region
Full Circle of Lake County  $5,000  High Country Region 
Dynamic Dimension, Inc.  $10,000  Northeast Region 
KCME $35,000  Front Range
