Rob Hilbert
Chief Financial Officer and Trustee Emeritus, El Pomar Foundation
Rob Hilbert is a native of Denver and since joining the Foundation in 1987 he has served as corporate secretary, treasurer, and vice president of administration. He is responsible for directing El Pomar's financial and accounting activities, tax matters, and the internal administrative activities associated with the grantmaking, programs, personnel, and office administration. Hilbert is a certified public accountant and a 1970 graduate of the University of Colorado. His professional experience includes working as a revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service, supervising tax specialist at Coopers & Lybrand, vice president and executive director of the Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation, secretary-treasurer of the Piton Foundation, and executive vice president of the U.S. Olympic Foundation. He has served as an adjunct professor in graduate programs for both Regis College and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Hilbert serves as El Pomar's lead trustee in the San Luis Valley Region.
